We have worked in partnership with Accord Housing, also with Dudley Adult Community Learning, Citizen’s Advice Bureau, Saltmine Trust, Sandwell Council, DECCA and the UK’s largest independent fostering agency – Foster Care Associates – on a wide range of community issues including:
- Peer Mentoring
- Underage drinking
- Young people and substance misuse
- Dementia
- Unemployment & Employability
- Research & Development
- Kinship
- Hoarding
- Family Work
- Attachment in Play & Drama (APD)
- Trauma
The AoC have also facilitated a highly successful, week long, creative, employability training course for hard to engage individuals who have been in long term unemployment and we teach them effective skills to break through personal barriers to gaining work. We have also trained young people in peer-led theatre work in devising and performing short pieces that are shown to adults to educate them about young people’s experiences of drinking alcohol underage, bullying, peer pressure, and taking illegal substances.
We also have provided support to local Dementia Gateways in the former of healing dramatherapy work and poetry.
The AoC also provide project management and are skilled in designing and implementation from start to finish. Just contact us to discuss any of your requirements or ideas.
We work creatively and efficiently.
